These terms govern your use of the Ochre app for iPad and Mac (the “app”) and this website, provided by [Legal entity — to be completed at incorporation] (“Ochre”, “we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If the app is obtained through the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it conflicts with these terms for App Store use, it prevails.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own business or personal invoicing. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the app, except to the extent the law permits.
You own everything you create in Ochre. Your data is stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account; we do not host it and cannot access it. You are responsible for keeping backups and for safeguarding your backup passphrase — a backup cannot be recovered without it.
Ochre is a tool for creating and managing invoices, quotes, and related records. It is not tax, accounting, or legal advice, and features such as tax calculations, GST handling, e-Way Bill fields, or compliance wording are aids, not guarantees. You are responsible for the accuracy of your documents and for meeting the tax and legal requirements that apply to you. Verify with a qualified professional where it matters.
We aim to keep the app working well, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. iCloud sync depends on Apple’s services, which are outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update the app and these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. You may stop using the app at any time and erase your data from within it.
